When Sela came home from school, she and Nina and the neighbors played outside until dusk. They started working on their dog sitting business posters for the summer. All the girls want more dogs than they currently have and Sela says she wants to get to know many breeds for her future plan of having a dog rescue operation along with being an artist. So "Maple Springs Farm Dog Walkers/Sitters" was born. They are collaborating with Sophia on this venture. Their target market is toy dogs and small dogs. It's so fun to see the creative wheels spinning. I think they just want to get their hands on a chihuahua since both their families won't entertain the idea of acquiring one!
I walked around the yard and played with my camera a little bit. And I enjoyed watching Rollin and Zig. I wanted to freeze time today seeing those two together on their knees digging in the dirt. Such good times. They worked together planting more strawberries. Rollin just loves a task and even more he loves to be helpful and work alongside Zig. He only likes the real tools and he is pretty good at using them. He is such a fun little boy.
Too tired to cook tonight, we headed out fairly late for dinner but it was a nice break and the kids were excited since we don't eat out too often together in the evenings.

Nina made a little treasure box with felt and an altoid container. I hid a little chocolate in it and you should have seen her eyes light up!
It's almost tulip time!

This is our yellow plum tree.

Such gorgeous trees and flowers!! Seeing Zig and Rollin digging in the dirt almost makes me want to go outside and start our garden. It is just so hot and muggy...I'm a wimp, I know :)
Hope you enjoyed your night out to dinner, i love going out to eat!
we have a little dog that may need some walking this summer:) I'm loving the sun the past few days, sending the kids out for hours has been so nice. Take care and let me know if there's anything I can do for you.
Oh wow! The pictures of Zig and Rollin working together are priceless. Sweet are those moments. And then there are those flowers and blossoms...thanks for sharing! I'm trying to imagine all their scents as I type. Glad to hear you had an unproductive day...you need a breather. And good for you for taking a night off of cooking.
I really hope you have a better night of sleep and comfort! I have a feeling that this little boy may be making an early debut! Aren't you even going to tease us with some names for him? I'm dying to know, but I'll wait patiently until he's born like I did with the rest.:) Or in Rollin's case...
It was well worth the wait Rollin!
I don't want to leave out the girls.
Nina - You go crafty girl. We need to create and do make up together sometime.
Sela - I'm loving the name of your business. You need to share your love of all of these puppies with me! :)
Shenise, no names yet...open to suggestions!
I always tell John that coming home early, unexpectedly, is the best gift he could give me. It is just so exciting, I love it! He came home early on "Good Friday" and it made my day :)
Beautiful photos, Ash, both of nature and those great "dirt" pictures. I'll send some name ideas. Give me a few days to think! Darcie
