Zig and the girls spent some quality time looking through a mail order chicken catalog tonight. I have to say I am getting pretty excited about the whole chicken thing. Of course, I've always been excited about the prospect of my own fresh eggs, but now I'm actually excited about the chickens themselves. There are some beautiful chickens out there. I never realized there could be such variety!

OK, so when I read "Mail-order chickens" I automatically thought of "Mail-order Brides". Haha... that's so cool how you get to order them out of a catalog. Are they expensive? Not that I'm going to buy one any time soon!
