Sela said she was nervous all day about the cross country meet this afternoon, but she walked away with another win! She must have channeled all that nervous energy.It's so funny, I had no idea she was such a good runner. These meets are so much fun and all the kids have such a great time. Rollin and Nina enjoy playing on the playgrounds of all the different elementary schools and Evan is pretty content just watching all the action. He gets passed around quite a bit too. Unfortunately, Zig was in San Fran today so we had to cheer extra loud to make up for his absence.
After the meet, we came home and had lentil sloppy joes and then off to Theno's for some pumpkin ice cream!

Should we be focusing on the Olympics?!!! Way to go Sela!! Keep on keeping on girl and we will get to come see you compete for something very big and special in the future. Maybe you could begin training to take your Dad on in a few years!!! Now that is a goal!!
When we come visit we are going to Theno's. It must be great ice cream :)
That is so great that Sela has taken to this running like she has. I guess it goes to show you never know how you'll like something until you just go and do it!

We just hit theno's for pumpkin ice cream on Tuesday after soccer. We have been watching the reader board for weeks. :)
Not only does Sela win...it looks like she is WAY ahead of the pack! Wouldn't a alias runner name be appropriate? Like The Bullet, or Flash, or Lightening?
